gonna be driving the v6 again for a while

well guys im back to the v6 birdy for a while until i get the maro finished up at the body shop. thinking about it yesterday i went to pick a part and found a fiero 2.8 and grabbed the valve covers and bolts for $10. is that a good deal. i also grabbed the middle intake piece. is it a better piece than the firebird one. i got it to port it out and try it. and i was gonna port the upper plentum. im also gonna remove the AC and get a shorter belt. and i wanted to recheck the timing. other than that she should be good to go. with that and good conditions should i be able to get a high 16 out of it in the quarter? my all time best with the car was a 17.17 at 78 mph. my best mph ever was a 79. my best 60 ft was a 2.28 but that was a 17.3 run. what do yall think

the middle section of the intake won't work. they have 3 runners all right next to each other on one side. ours are different...2 together, space, one more. $10 for the valve covers is pretty good. that 60' time is pretty good for stock. my car, stock, always ran a 2.37 60' and that was a 3.1.

can you just take the AC off and get a shorter belt? or do you gotta get a delete pully? What size belt? How big a diffrence does it make? My AC compressor has a ringing bearing and it wont hold a charge so I wanna take it off
