I have heard a ticking coming from my motor for the longest time. I finally figured out where it is coming from. Where the egr tubes go into the exhuast manifolds on the drivers side. Exhuast seems to be coming from where they connect to the manifold, is there anyway to fix this or time for new ones? Thanks again

 

do you mean A.I.R. tubes?

AZ/Nappy, SchlepBoyz, Trash AUto might have replacements made by motormight.

 

How hard are they to replace, it looks to be leaking out of the fitting itself. I think the shop screw up somewhere when they were working on it because it was not like that before. Yes i ment the air tubes

 

Search the yards for a matching manifold & the attaching pipes.
Your threads could also be messed up, now.

 

Do they leak with age or when people screw with them, lol

 

My 1985 S-10 Blazer
has those pipes on exhaust manifolds.
I've owned the ride since 1989
They have never leaked, period.
211,500 miles and now they on the 3.4 under the hood
Guess what, they still don't leak.

 

Only prob will be getting them off the car sing they are connected to that y pipe And that thing is prob rusted (junk yard car i mean, lol) any ideas or should i have them do it? Thanks

 

Buy the whole manifold & have them chop the set up off car.
