Engine mount broken
One of my engine mounts is busted, I beleive it is the left one. Two questions:
1. How serious a problem is this? My engine rocks around a bit enough to shake the car on harder accels...which i now try to avoid...
2. how expensive/hard is it to replace such an item?

IF you are that concerned spend the time & money to get an "EXPERT OPINION LOOKING AT YOUR CAR INFRONT OF THEM".
You know that's the safest answer anyone can offer you.
I never had abit of trouble with my broken mount on my S-10 due to lack of power generated by motor for twisting.
My frame mount died due to oil leakage & previous owner accident. I got one from the 1995 F Body engine I installed. Fit perfect. Mated to older style egine mount perfectly. I waited until I swapped engine to do my replacment mission.

first of all, which half is bad? I've seen both halfs broken, but not on same ride.
If its the rubber part, driving like a "grand ma" you can make it last a month or more I bet. If its the formed metal end, fix very soon.
I replaced the right one on my car not long after getting it. It was cheap, but took a few hours, some odd tools, and my trusty cussword book.
Just remember, every mile you drive, your taking a risk of breaking something else. Could be a cheap simple fix, or could be multi part, costly fix.
