Throttle Body Bypass
I've read a couple threads about this, and I was just wondering what it will actually do for you? Better fuel efficiency? More power? The lower temperature is easier on the engine?

on my car i noticed no tempature difference in engine running. some people claim noticeable performance gains. some even claim "dyno-proven" performance gains. i have NEVER seen any of them post any hard evidence.
when you cut right to the core of it, it is a free mod (as you can reuse one of the two hoses allready there, just bend it in half and shove it on the other flange) and it makes maintinence easer. do you live in a realy cold clymat? the actual purpose of it is to prevent ice from forming in the TB. (i live in oregon, so no problems there) if you think you will have an ice problem don't do it (i am talking norther canada alaska here)

I'm not going to say, you'll get X hp from it. But, in theory, you should run a little better. Reason for this is that the air coming through the throttle body stays a little cooler; cooler air is more dense than warm air; denser air combusts more efficiently; more efficient combustion results in more power. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on anything here... I wouldn't expect to see tenths of a second off of your 1/4 mile times or anything, but it should help with efficience a little.
