Is it time for a tune up?

First off, the car fires right away, cold weather or not, but when you accelerate it from 0 it starts to hesitate until it reachs some good engine temperature.....is it a clue that I need to replace sparkplugs, rotor..dist cap....? the mpg is awesome since I full the tank up last Sunday and still have more than half of tank full, when a while ago the tank was around a quarter full only on thursdays.... the last time I checked mpg, it threw 22 miles/gallon.

I do my major tuneup once a year.

If you're having trouble, just check everything- can't really check a fuel filter, but you can check plug wires (with multimeter), plugs, cap/rotor corrosion, timing, etc etc. In fact, before I go thru dyno emissions, I swap in a new "stock" air filter (and put it back in the box after I pass smog), clean/regap the plugs, check the wires, clean the dist cap, check the timing, clean the TB and IAC system, check the TPS, and a few other things.
