Who makes a strut tower brace that will clear the stock hood and our throttle body?

The BMR one fits ok, but rubs a little...the Edelbrock one only fits Camaros.

For me I think the BMR rubbed because of the SunCoast hood!

ive also searched on this but i never find answers every thing says Tpi only or tbi

what brace will fit on a stock 3.1 with a stock hood
ive searched on here and on differant sites
dose any one have one
or is it true like the guys at summit say that there is none

ive tried the one from my iroc and it wont clear the neck of the plenum
the engine is to tall
i believe its Bmr

Dean (RTFC) has one on his 2.8. i want to say its the edlebrock one but i could be way off!

Edelbrock will not fit a Firebird; if you do manage to get it on, it will push the hood up slightly on the drivers side. Its a POS in my opinion, should be ok for Camaros though.
The BMR one for TPI is what is on Redraif's car, and I don't think it would be a problem with most hoods, though it does rub a little on hers.

I have the Hotchkis STB. Clears the 3.1 and my hood, however, I have the Ram Air II hood. But I dont see why it wouldnt clear the stock hood. It says its made for a V8 TPI, no hood adjustments necessary.
Oh and it performs well too!
