Vortec parts

Got a V6 Vortec in my autoshop thats basically a door stop. Pretty sure its a 4.3. Only vortec chevy makes that I know of. Would any thing from that engine work on my 2.8, be it valves, cam, connecting rods, crank... anything really.

Would the rocker arms do anything performance wise?

not unless you got some roller tip rockers or the narrow body full roller rockers for a smal block chevy, and we can use 1.5 1.52 or 1.6 ratio rockers. but the 1.6 rocker you will need to get taller valve covers like aftermarket edelbrock or fiero valve covers to clear the rockers.

that's 50/50 you'll need new covers. We've had people post that they had some knocking & others that didn't have any.
