How do you test the ECM

Axle/Gears: 3.42's
What problem are you having, there is no way to directly test the ECM, you have to check sensors and outputs first, then if everything else checks out OK, then you have to replace the ECM with a known good unit. If the problem is solved, it's the ECM...it's aminly trial and error.
What issues are you having? ECMs don't go bad as often as people like to think they do. Most problems lie in sensors and outputs of the ECM.

There is a way to test the ECM, but a simulator has to be built and you have to know EXACTLY what you are looking for/at, to determine if it's fuctioning properly, or not.

OK, I stand corrected, but for a normal person, there is no way to test the ECM itself.
And what the hell is "QFT"?
