sleeper is out, you've got a window sticker. id say go for the z28, if for no other reason than that no one can make the joke Really Slow/Sucks about your car.

urban cause i was gonna build a nice z-28 clone rims badges lights interior pieces and full suspension, which ive pretty much done already and then some

so the better ? is should i put the rs rims back on and change the z-28 badges back to rs along with the tail lights, and rs grill insert or leave it all z-28 stuff ( dont forget im swapping in a 500+ hp sb 358 this spring time)

Well...if you leave the RS badges, everyone will think its a stinky TBI 305.... til you walk all over them.

I'm all for the sleeper thing. I'd like to think of my stang as a sleeper except for the dumps

yeah thats what i was thinking nixion except id pu tthe 2.8 multi port badge back on the rear bumper problem woudl be finding some good very quiet mufflers to keep this small block quiet,as for the engine it looks like a stock 350 but is far from it

No fancy badges can make up for not owning a Firebird

Just wait till summer comes and I do the paint job to match and a slew of powder coated parts, then you can poke back

I don't need to look at a cars "badging" to tell if its something- Anyone who knows cars really doesn't look at something superficial as that- Only inportant to impress high school kids that are wet behind the ears and believe in stickers making a car fast.

Do yourself justice and leave it be.

That color was never offered on the Z28. It wouldn't matter if you applied all the badges and all the decals in the world, it still won't jive as a Z28 to anyone who has been around these cars very long.

You can do whatever you want with it, it's your car. However when you start mixing and matching parts the overall effect gets fouled up. In this case with Iroc wheels on a car in that shade of blue, with those GFX and then Z28 badges just looks like someone mixed a bunch of parts up and put together a Franken Maro.

If it's any consolation, I built a Franken-bird and now I've returned it back to the stock body parts.

real simple, its not a z-28 so don't badge it as so, its the same deal as getting a type r sticker for your civic.

i figured it would just look better with them over a car with z-28 rims/lights but rs badges\, since an rs never came with those same with the guages

I'd say leave it. There are plenty of people on this forum with fast RS's, rebadging it just makes it look like a cheapo clone-job.

I'd say go z-28 if it makes you like the car more mine's a heck I don't know but by the time I'm done the only thing it won't have that Iroc's do is, T-Tops and a V-8 have fun with it
