Sure, but it's gonna be a waste of money. If you want to go fast, or have any kind of 'performance' get rid of the 2.8.

dont listen to him i got very low 15's from a 2.8 (compared to 18's stock) without nitrous, woulda went deep into the 14,s with it, there are plenty of partst availible , its mor eof picking the right combination of parts, and how much money u want to spend, hell my whole turbo project is only gonna run me about 600$;s

Yea man...It's cool to have a V8 in the low 13's but it's cooler to have a V6 in the mid 13's . A little less cheaper though...

yah but theres a guy in the poweradder forum running 12s @114+ with a RMT on an otherwise stock cavalier 3400 . . . . FWD. with a real turbo in a car that can actually launch(albiet a bit heavier), 12s is quite possible, even with an iron head 3.4.

15;s is respectable specially for something that runs mid to high 18s from the factory, beside she didnt state he wants a ***** fast race car, just some more performance out of the 2.68

He could make a cookie cutter car and mod the v8, or be unique and keep the six. his choice.
