injector matching
my #6 cyl is dead, it happenes only after driving for awhile, then under heavy(not WOT) throttle, it misfires very bad and shakes and looses power, i think i may have some gunk in the rear of the fuel rail, so im going to flsuh it out at work. if that doesnt work, i have my old 2.8 injectors, 1 of which is brand new, is the difference between a 2.8 and 3.4 injectors gonna screw somethin up?

I put 3.1 injectors in my 3.4 for a short while. Along with shimmed up the pressure.
If your doing it for testing and a short time, you'll be alright(shimming regulator as well), just dont abuse it. I also dont recommend doing this for an extended time. Just testing only!!
I've also got some miss-matched 17's, if you post the info of which ones you have, I'll see what I got.

they are the stock 1995 firebird 3.4 injectors, SFI, they have larger openings and have some sort of green plastic band around the bottom, above the bottom O ring

Understand on the weather, thats why I called it early on mine.
But I have found alot of different numbers on these things. I belive I have about 16 or 17 injectors, none a complete matching set.
