2.8 vs. 3.4 heads
I was wondering if there is any differences between the 2.8 and 3.4 heads? are the 3.4 any bigger? does anybody know combustion chamber sizes or anything about either? I ask because if they are larger (well, bigger ports) then they would obviously sort of be a good bolt on for a 2.8, and if the 3.4 has a larger combustion chamber, then bolting a set of the smaller 2.8 heads on a 3.4 would be an easy way to make a high compression N/A motor with more power (after porting obviously)
And if they are the same, even better for me cause I was going to go ahead and work on a spare set of 2.8 heads to go with a possible 3.4 in the future
But I wouldn't want to go through the trouble if 3.4s are better in anyway.
Can someone clear this up for me?

only difference in the iron head is carb vs fuel injected.
carb heads had 1.6 intake, and 1.3?? exhaust valves.
all fuel injected heads starting from the 2.8,3.1,3.4 all have 1.72 intake and 1.42 exhaust.
The combustion area is the same.

cool, thats exactly what I needed to know
now I won't be wondering if I am going to be wasting my time next week while I port my set
