stock 3.4 cam on 1.6 rockers

any thoughts on using the stock 3.4 cam(.423/.423-Duration: 264°/274°
RPM Range: 1200-4600) with comp cams 1.6 roller tip magnum rockers, will that allow me to pull good to 5200-5500 ish? i think that puts me around a total of .4512 on both sides, and if i do go for a bigger cam, is it true i can retain some bottom end power with some of these lifters http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0213&langId=-1, or are any of those not going to fit my motor

Don't worry about low end torque - our intake takes care of that (and kills the real screaming top end power )

Yeah, that would be fine - I might suggest using full roller rockers, though, unless you already have the roller tips

what full rollers should i use, i know of the gold roller rockers, but they're so expensive, is the real gain in a roller rocker the roller pivot?

what else do you have done?

I went to roller TIPPED 1.6 rockers and noticed nothing. Simulation program showed peak 3 hp.

I personally feel you would get better bang for your buck on something else first.

yea, now that you mention it, it would probably be better spent on dropzone springs and an
alignment

Yep dropzones + shocks + alignment made my car a WHOLE lot of fun real quick.

Better though, if you are still stuck on 15" rubber, get you some 16x8" wheels and some 245/50/16s. Nothing (well, the turbo ) has made as much of a difference to my car.

Otherwise, you can supposedly use any narrowbodied rockers... I'll have some pics next week of me reworking my heads, using ARP rocker studs to allow use of my Comp 1.6 full rollers.
