need help fast races tommorow

need help fast races tommorow

just left the house and right down the street the car died got it to start but idles really rough and wont make enough power to more the car. i havee the first race of the year tommorow and need to figure this out quick any help would be great thanks

Check pickup coil, and ignition module, first.

Do you have spark? Fuel pressure good?

at first it was when its hot or so i thought looked through the car and came up with this no engine codes, good spark, good fuel pres. this is my diagnosis, when i hit the gas and the car asks for more fuel, all its getting is air. changed the tps and now the car idles smooth(at 2000rpm) but when i hit the gas it bogs out to about 400 rpm or sometimes stalls. then revs back up to 2000 this sucks, im lost

Unplug the MAP sensor, see if it makes any difference.

If so, there is your culprit

tried that no change this morning went to start the car and it runs for a couple sec and stalls. found a vaccume line to the smog pump unhooked but that didn't change it. going to pick up an iac valve, mine is really hard to move in and out, and also exchange the ecu that i put in a couple weeks ago. welded on my lca's and trac bar last week so who knows, maybe did something to that. any other ideas, you know what to do thanks dan

its not supposed to move by hand you just ruined it you will need a new one now. Did you unplug the ECU when you were welding on the car?

ya already put one in and swapped the computer out, it was under warrenty anyway. when i unplugged the map it didnt change anything but today unplugged the vaccume to it and started it and it ran. then as soon as i took off up the street it died again so i guess thats probally it
