3.4...opposed to 3.1

Engine parts are interchangable right? For example fttp.net has a comp cam kit for the 3.4 that I'm interested in. It includes lifters, timing chain set, etc. Will these work with my 3.1? Thanks...

anything under the valve covers is interchangable. the intakes are different and all the stuff that bolts on to the outside of the engine are different. but internals are all interchangable.

If your running the 3.4 ecm system, the cam has to have a cam sensor trigger.

If your running the 2.8/3.1 ecm system, its all good.
