saw a 3.4 stroker motor on ebay, these guys from A.R.I. Racing Engines build em and sell on ebay. Price is $1,200 kinda high for a v6. The guys ebay name is dwa007. You can do a search for him that way.

a reman'd engine is an engine that was rebuilt, basically making it new again. if the rebuild was done properly the motor should last a very long time, if done incorrectly the motor is toast.

if your looking at reman engines, talk to a few machine shops and price a rebuild.
That is all you are buying anyway, a rebuilt engine.
And if you want to learn something have the machine shop do the machine work, and rebuild it yourself.

You really do not need a lot of tools. A good basic set and a trq wrench and your good to go. Just have the manual right there, and go step by step. Trust me it is easy, it just scares ya the first time.
Break it down into small steps and assemblies, you'll have it togeather and running in no time.

Only problem I have with re-man engines is I know there use to be brand new crate motors on Ebay for $200, should of bought one, should of bought one, I was broke then, now I would buy 3.

Best deal I found on Ebay was $850 shipped for a re-man long block. And if they had them in stock, you could pick the bore. They sell 2.8 3.1 3.4 all the same price. some are 10-20-30 over........... Ebay name enginesdirect

I liked them the best so far because they give lots n lots of details on what they do to the engines.

Still can't decide myself.

-edit. I did some searching, and found nothing but good reviews of jasper. I would still be wary of a mass roducing company though.
