T-5 question...

I just bought a 94 Camaro with a 3.4/T-5 combo. I got it cheap and you get what you pay for. Im having troubles with the clutch. It wont dissengage at all. What could the problem be?? I was thinking the fork maybe.. Help is appreciated. Thanks

sounds like you might be right. Have you tried having some one depress the clutch while being up under the car watching...? That's the first thing that came to my mind. if everything looks good then you know it's most likely in the tranny...

if it is an internal problem you're in luck. manual transmissions are EASY to rebuild, making it cheap also. Definatly check to see if the fork is throwing out at all. you might have a pressure issue in the clutch pedal.

Could it just be out of fluid or something??

could be. definatly check that. an internal problem on a manual tranny isn't that common unless it was driven hard or wrong. and if there is no cluctch fluid fill it up and have some one pump the clutch and while you look around for a leak in the line of fluid resivior.

Well I went n checked the car out. The tran wont go into any gear at all. It will try to go into reverse but the clutch wont dissengage so it wont even go into reverse. I couldnt find a fluid resivoir or anything and the car is to low for me to get under with out ramps and my buddy's got those at the time.

I'm not too big into the 4th gens. but...your clutch fluid resivoir should be near your master cylinder and brake booster. it should be a small cylinder...Does your clutch pedal feel excessivly loose?

sounds like you may have an issue with your pressure plate...maybe bent or warped. But it could still be the fork not throwing out. only way to tell is to get up under there and check. Sounds like this car has been driven hard in its days

On my lt1 the clutch fluid reservoir is just to the right of the brake booster and master cylinder.
