Maybe time for another dizzy...(pic)

Ok...after I did the tune-up today, I looked at the dist. cap. It looks like the rotor button has just dug into the cap. I know the pic is'nt all that hot, but you can kinda see what I mean. Is the shaft done got worn out making it do this? I know last week the car did'nt run that good, so after I got home I noticed the dist. cap was loose. I tightened it up and it stayed tight til the tune-up. Could it being loose like that for 1 day have made the rotor do that?

you can check to see if the shaft is worn by simply trying to wiggle it with the cap off. also, make sure that the rotor is pushed all the way down on the top of the shaft.

i would think that even running for a lil while like that would cause that problem. that things spinning pretty quick inside there.
