How's this theory on my rich/open loop/code13 situation
Could a leaky (or bad spray pattern) injector(s) put enough unburnt fuel through the exhaust to screw up the o2, making the o2 cause the system to stay in open loop, causing it run all that much richer?
The car runs rich and doesn't seem to go into closed loop. 20mins last night on a scanner and it said 'loop open' the whole time. The o2 stayed around .4 volts.
Today I hooked a multimeter directly to the o2 and got the same thing. .399 - .408. Not .15-.85. This was while the car was warm and had been driven. I jumped A&B and got nothing but fast SES flashing. (open loop)
Also was getting code 13 until I had the battery disconnected early yesterday. I'm sure I'll get it again.
(replaced o2 couple weeks ago and didn't get codes for a week, now they're back)
I'm also losing fuel pressure, and the only place left I haven't eliminated is the injectors.
All cylinders are firing.
Tps tested good.
Maf looks fine (worked fine too until just after new engine)
pinched off both fuel lines and pulled cold-start injector to watch for leaks/ nothing. still lost pressure.
No leaks anywhere in rest of fuel system.
Seems to be even more gutless and using even more fuel.
