I finally sold my 6cyl thirdgen projects, they were fun but it was time to move on.

Now I've got a bunch of 6cyl parts left over, and there's zero resale market. The little stuff can go on Ebay, but what does a person do with other 6cyl parts taking up space? If anyone wants to come pick up a 6cyl T5 setup I'd sell it cheap. I would rather sell it cheap to someone who can use it then to throw it away, but I don't have room to store parts I'm NEVER going to use.

I've got nearly everything to put a T5 behind a 2.8L or 3.1L. I listed it in the classifieds and didn't even get a nibble.

Bellhousing, transmission, clutch fork, good used t/o bearing, pressure plate, 84 2.8L flywheel, solid hub clutchnet racing clutch disc, shifter, crossmember, mounts, etc. I'd like $150 for all of it, but I'm negotiable if I don't have to clean it up and ship it.

I've also got the hydraulics, clutch/brake pedal setup, steering column, lower shift boot, 5spd shift plate for a Camaro, and even a 3.1L 5spd Memcal, for another $100

I actually threw away a .040 over 3.1 block, and 90% of the 2.8 hardware off my 84. I think I've still got a practically new mechanical fuel pump in storage. I've got a set of Fiero valve covers, and a full instrument gauge cluster on ebay, and other parts I can't think of.

Approximately $80 according to UPS and an apprx weight of 100lbs to a residential address.

I wish someone local could use this stuff, I'm getting tired of walking around the transmission in the garage and over the clutch/flywheel in my storage unit. At least the parts that aren't V6 specific could be used on a V8 car, but I'll never go back to a 6cyl thirdgen. I've been giving SERIOUS thought to robbing parts off the transmission for my Ford project and recycling the rest.

hey drew im not gonna take that trans but that price is helluva deal.
after giving it much though it cost to much money to make that t5 live up behind my combo to make it worth the auto manual swap.
i ended up ordering a level 3(rated to 700hp) probuilt 700r4 and 3,500 stall converter instead
but my neibor just bought a v6 t5 car ill ask him if he needs the trans for ya,pretty sure he was saying his needed a rebuild anyway

I'd sell you all that for $100. If you want the pedals, column, shifter plate, lower boot, hydraulics, etc etc etc $200. If you can get it out of my garage in the next week or so. It's all good stuff, worked great, I blew the engine and crushed the car.

I checked car-part.com and the cheapest price I saw for just a trans for a 2.8 is $175. The rest of the stuff I could use with a V8 T5 and I've got a car sitting here with a bum 700R4. Unless I can make enough off the rest of the parts to justify selling I'll just hold onto them. But this trans has got to go. If you want to get the trans now and pick up the rest when you can, it's not going anywhere unless a nearly free world class V8 T5 setup falls from the sky.

Check your PM's...

There's been quite a bit of interest, but so far trying to sell this thing has been a waste of my time. It's still available, but I'm not interested in shipping it. If someone local wants to give $100 for the trans and get it out of my garage in the next week or so, let me know asap. Otherwise I'm going to drain the fluid steal a few parts off it and throw the rest in the garbage.

A few different people have asked if it's a World Class trans... It's not, it's from an 84. It works perfectly and hasn't ever been monkeyed with.

I got tied up with other projects and I'm just now getting back to actively trying to get this junk out of my garage. I've had it listed in the classifieds here and on local forums with no luck. If someone wants it make an offer.

My garbage man is going to get one heck of a surprise this week.

Is the 2.8 fuel injected? If it is I need the manifold and the neck for the radiator hose.
