1990 Bird 3.1L V6 Fuel Injection. HELP!!

I have a 1990 Pontiac Firebird which i just had to replace the oil pump. ok so i pulled the engine/tranny as one replaced the oilpump and stuffed the engine back in. Tried to start her adn the darnned thing wont start. I dont know much about cars at all and this is the first time i have dove this far into anything but wasnt going to pay 650 dollars for some one to replace a 49 dollar part. Ok, here is what i have done thus far; I checked to make sure that all my spark plugs were firingall of them were they looked fowled to me so i changed them anyway and set the gap of them to .045. Next i checked that i didnt screw up the timing which i didnt pull the distributor just the cap and i didnt take the tranny off the engine so i didnt think it would be that and found timing is good actually from the specs i have read from users on here and firebirdnation my timing is dead on. ok so spark and timing is good what else could it be. after talk to a guy i met in the next stall over i found out about the fuel injector Nodes. um ok well i plugged the node lights and didnt get any reaction found that they should have strobed so ok now i know where the problem lies the injectors arent allowing fuel from the rail to the heads, my question is how do i find out wether its the wires (where do they go) or the computer. I turn on my car all the lights come on except the check engine light which doesnt turn on at all i know it wroks cause the blasted thing was always on before i did all this cause of the O2 sensor which i replaced but i figured it should come on when ignition turns to the on postion correct? so what gives? do i have bad fuel wires or is the comp fried?

There is a fuse in-line with a wire under the hood. It is on the passenger side, runs along the fender line. Closer to the front is a small rubber do-hickey. The cap pulls off and there is a 20 AMP fuse. This fuse is for the ECM.

The other item to check are the fusable links down off the starter.

also check the ground strap that goes to the back of the cyl head on the passenger side of the engine,if i remebr right there is also one that comes out of the main harness that goes to on of the bellhousing bolts
----------
theres 3/4 smaller wires that come off the starter with a lil black thing a few inches from were they bolt to the starter, those are fusible links,if they go bad the wire pretty much melts in half to break the circut

check what rbob said first, then try to flash codes, the computer should flash code 12 three times first, then any codes, or just 12 three more times if there are no codes.if the computer does not flash 12 3 times chances are the computer is bad.if the computer does nothing u need to make sure it is getting power, which u can check with a voltmeter or test light,if it is getting power and dosent flash anything then u also know it is bad
