car died!!!!!

OK guy's here's today's story
Please give me some ideas..........

started the car up last week (she was parked for 2 months)
she ran great all week long esp after the new cat and injectors
anyhow I had to run a quick errand this morning
I jump in and was off car was running nice and smooth
then all of a sudden at a red light
she totally dies no warning or anything just shut down
it was like my totally electrical system shut down

I called for a push and after around 20 min of absolutely nothing
when i was about 6 block from home
(wife had to come push me home )
so all of a sudden while she's in neutral i figured I'd try it again
and she all of a sudden started
sounded and ran like crap but she got me home

now i just need to figure out why and what happened
while at the same time pray that she starts up again so i can get her into the shop on Monday
tow trucks are killer here in the city

I'm going to try and pull some codes if any later on after i calm down some

Car: 1992 Camaro RS
Engine: 3.1 V6
Transmission: Automatic
My Camaro did same thing. The problem was the electronic control modulator. Seemed like once it warmed it up would stall and then fire back up after a few minutes.

The ignition control module(ICM) is in the distributer. When mine went it died and it fired right back up, and then about 1/4 mile down the road it died for good. It would turn over but never fire up.

What happened when it died? Voltage gauge go to 0? Interior lights/radio die? Starter turn? Engine turn over? Sound like it was trying to start? Did you hear the fuel pump prime when you tried to start it again?

She just turned off everything when dead all at once........
Nothing worked at all

it's been raining like crazy here so i have not gone out to start playing around with it yet but the auto start is working like normal so i just ran the car for about 10 min this morning.

when i tried to restart her there was nothing at all
no sounds
no lights
nothing

i'm going to try and run her a little tonight but to be honest i'm afride to take here out and have her die on me again.......

I dont really know much about this, but it kinda sounds like there might be something wrong with the wiring between the ignition lock cylinder and the remote starter. Feel free to shot me down, but if you can start it with the remote and not the key you might have a wiring problem.

I tried to start her up and she just came back to life right as she hit for like the 10th time (man i swear she was smiling from ear to ear)

anyway i just parked her and this morning b/4 i left for work i grabbed the alarm and tried to start her and she started right up as if nothing ever happened

anyway i just got home and it's to dark and cold for me to trying anything tonight I'll list any and all codes i can pull tomorrow
