SEFI?

can I run an SEFI setup without the SEFI cam sensor? Or do I have to stick with the batch fire MPI setup?

You have to stick with the batch fire setup.

Without a cam sensor, the ECM will never know when you are on Firing TDC for #1. As far as the ECM would be concerned, it just knows that you're at TDC on some cylinder, it doesn't care which one.
