is this a good turbo kit?

eBay Motors: T3/T4 T04E TURBO KIT+GREDDY BOV+CONTROLLER+INTERCOOLER (item 280003366520 end time Nov-22-06 19:09:20 PST)

this winter my cousin and i are going to turbo my 2.8, probally spary also. but i found this turbo kit on an old thread and it looks really good for the price i was just wondering if it is good, or if its cheap for a reason.

if it looks too good to be true, it always it. Although, Ill wait here for some more opinions cause thats an awesome price for even a decent turbo set up.

They all look like generic parts though, nothing good really.

Axle/Gears: so tall theres no point
i would never buy the turbo itsself off of ebay, unless its an actual brand name. all the other stuff should be ok. but ive seen people but ebay special turbo's and the impellars look like plastic. they would work for a month or three, but would always end up with problems. imo.

That's the same turbo Dave is running and I also got one like it soon to be installed. I think he has quite a few miles on it and no problems while making some good HP numbers.

that is not the same turbo,i would stay away from it,most of the problems seem to be with the turbu zx/xy turbos and the black and blue tag turbos

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, how many people really do have their birds turbo'd, and how many of those have had problems with them, because it seems like a lot of people are saying "turbo it" but not many of them actually have a turbo setup, so it would be cool to know how many cars really do have turbos and what has gone wrong with them.

i have one,ttypecamaro just installed a setup based off mine on his brothers car,doward was the first to turbocharge a v6 thirdgen i belive,and sixshooter also has a turbo 3.1/hybrid motor but his is in a truck not a camaro.theres a few guys running around with turbo 3.4 4thgens,and alot of other ppl running around with turbo 2.8/3.2/3.4's in other cars (fwd)
