aftermarket distributor

i need help finding an after market distributor to use with my 2.8 i dont want another stock replacement, but if thats all that is available then so be it. does any one know who makes them or where i can get one? thanks

cardone takes stock ones and rebuilds the top "crown" with a different design. That is all thats available. I'm not sure which dizzy is in my motor, but I have one forsale.

stock GM HEI distributors are capable of allot of horesepower before you need to upgrade. is there a reason you are looking for an aftermarket one?

the one in thecar now that i removed is in pretty bad shape, rust prongs are all bent to hell. i think it is a cardone but not positive. where can i get a stock gm hei?

is the one i used. or you could go to the STEALership and get one. your local schucks/checker/craigen will price match partsamerica (it's thier website).

I just replaced my dizzy this last weekend. Mine had just under a quarter inch of endplay. :shock: they are suposed to have .010" of endplay

Well an aftermarket part isnt gonna be like $50 new.. gotta be prepared to spend money like that, specially on these engines...
