Hey man, dont get too frustrated.
If its cranking but not starting up, it could be the fuel pump relay, the pump, or the fuse. If its not cranking, thats another matter.
PS, you may want to get rid of the rice from you sig.

Yeah its most likely the battery or the starter, it can even be the alternator thats not charging the battery. TODAY'S SPECIAL: FRIED LAWNMOWER RICE.

I think it's jealous of that thing in your sig lol
Also it could be VATS.....it's a lovely little thing lol
I had a vega with a fuel pump in the gas tank. I got tired of pulling the gas tank so I installed a in line fuel pump. Worked like a charm, never had anymore problem. The guy at a garage even made a braket in the engine department to mount it on. DO I NEED TO GO FURTHER. OK, hose sprung a leak and sprayed gas all over hot engine ignited and went BOOM. Why I wasnt involved in the main flash I dont know. Lesson learned: if you install inline fuel filter put in the back away from anything hot or sparking.

Ok, I think I found the problem........it's either the fuel pump or the connectors in the tank. Tried a jumper to the pump and nothing. even went under car tapped in the wires and still nothing. So I am going to drop the tank for the 2nd time and redo all of my wires, connectors, hoses, and pump.....

If you're haveing to do this much fuel pump stuff, you may want to consider doing the pop-top fuel pump removal mod.

I'd hook up a fuel pressure gauge to see if your pump is working. If not, I'd check the fuel pump relay and also see if you have power going to the fuel pump. If all the wires and connectors are good, the realy is good and it still just cranks and no fuel pressure, you have a bad fuel pump.
