I have a friend with an 87 fbird 2.8 and he has a funny issue. When the car starts up the starter whines and then it runs fine as long as you are mashing on the gas. Once you let go it cuts off. I was thinking fpr but I'm not sure. Anyone have any ideas of what this could be. The car does burn a lil oil but maybe about a quart a month. Thanks in advance for any feedback on this.
