ACCEL fuel injectors - - Which ones???

Fuel Injectors, 15 lbs./ hr., 14.4 Ohms Impedance, 12 Volt, Ford/ GM/ Mercury, Set of 6

these are on summit racing and range from 15lbs to 17 to 19 to 21 to 24.

They are all the same price so I'm betting one size doesn't give more performance than another. At least not without other mods.....? I have a mostly stock 3.1 - - just a free flowing soon-to-be no cat exhaust and cooler jet fan switch as of today. What size should I get? What's you opinion on the accel brand? I always thought it was more for the ricers. thanks - Nate

I believe 19 is the biggest and best you will need espically for a car thats stock or slightly modified.

Re: ACCEL fuel injectors - - Which ones???

I have Ford V6 injectors in mine..if I recall they are around 14.5lb'ers,I was running stock GM 3.4 94-95 injectors which are larger want to say 17?.I had problems re-starting after warm, and destroyed a O2 sensor too.It did run great on the highway, but my car is a stop and go driver. After the Ford injectors installed it seems to idle and off the line performance is smooth.Big difference...I want to say the Ford injectors are close to the accels types,if your on a budget these are a good replacement.I was also told the Ford and Accel injectors have a better coil, and spray tip/pattern then the stock pingel types?.thats my opinion.Oh, my engine has no mods except muffler.

if your looking at getting performance injectors i have a set of venom injectors i had on my 3.1 camaro for about a year, never had a problem with them and ill sell them to you for 100 and throw in a msd coil with it, and if you wanted the fuel rail you could have that also let me know

heres the site directly to the injectors i bought http://www.autoanything.com/fuel-sys...0A2347823.aspx

and heres the ignition coil http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pr...=ignition_coil

and if your looking to go a lil faster i have a hypertech computer chip a flowmaster 80 series and a custom twin filter intake. if your interested in pics or a package price make an offer

There is also a place in the US that will take your stock injectors and install some better coils and give you a lifetime warranty.I cant remember the company maybe someone here might know.I personally dont care for the stock pingel injectors, but one good thing about those is you dont need to have injector cleanings done.. has those are self cleaning tips?.Some even complained about a stumble off idle ,and I had those symptoms and I would say the different injectors solved that problem.

a hundred bucks for injectors and a coil and a fuel rail can't be beat. I'd like to do it. Do you have paypal? Can we do it the middle of next week? Could you maybe email me some instructions for the fuel rail and injector install?
