power trunk release wiring
I have a 88 camaro with the trunk relase option. When I got the car the motor was missing and I bought a power pull down motor from an 87 irock. The unit has a blue wire and white wire coming from the motor that has these little black clips on it, the factory wiring only has one that would hook up. I could be missing something.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year? I took some wiring from an 89 and when I tried to hook up the grounds, I got this minor spark when they touched the body. I didn't have the correct bolt so I had to find one and try it agian and when I went to hook the ground wires up it didn't spark. I turned the key on and tried the switch and nothing happend. Is there a fuse for the pull down motor?
I had no idea that the wiring would be that different from an 88 to an 89. How can I test to see it the unit is working?
Also I took the blower motor off the 89 and it won't fit my 88. I checked AZ and the two different years used different part numbers for the motors. Oh, well I only paid $15 for and I need the plastic wheel off it anyway.

also, for all I know this car could have only with the power trunk release and not the pull down.
