nitrous questions

Im going to be picking up a universal wet kit in a few days and i have a few questions;

1.How long will it take to install im estamateing around 4-5 hrs
2. Where should i mount the nozzle closer to the TB or alittle further back
3. I know i get the fuel from the test valve but is it a special size or are they a standard size for the most part.
4. Im only going to run a 50 or 75 shot im assumeing thats safe

I have a 2.8 if that matters.

Re: nitrous questions

hi, i asume you would get instructions for the best mounting point - all systems vary a little, so pay attention to those particular instructions.
the test valve on the fuel rail ? is just a schrader valve
on the nozzle size id start small and see how the car responds - how old is the motor? how many miles??

Re: nitrous questions

50 and 75 shot is pretty safe for a stock motor, depends on miles too. Like zs&ts said, start small and work you way up. You don't want to run lean when running NO2. Do a search since there are a few people here who have run NO2 on these motors stock.

Re: nitrous questions

Kit Number 07005NOS is intended for 4 & 6 cylinder applications. This kit was designed to be used on late model multi-point fuel injection type engines with 43 psi ± 5 psi fuel pressure.

Re: nitrous questions

The fuel pressure in these cars should sit at 45 psi if I am not mistaken.

Re: nitrous questions

I don't think I need to tell you to put the maf back in first, but I will anyway.
