u can do a solid roller conversion though, i belive crower sells a kit to do this,
imho its not worth it for a street car,sinc eu will have to pull the valve covers every x amount of miles to adjust the valves

Well you can convert it to a hyd. roller, I'm still not entirely convinced one way or the other that the bottom end will be starved. If you dissect a fwd lifter there's no oil hole underneath the roller like so many seem to think. So it's not going to puke oil on the cam which leaves the rockers as the only other 'puking point'. I can't say that I know there's a difference between the roller & flat tappet valving, but me thinks the rollers would actually be a bit more restricted being that the rockers are roller fulcrum as well. One way or another I'm going to find out once I get my motor finished (someday). All you need to do is clearance fwd antirotation bars and mount a couple studs on the block to hold things down.
