Problem - Engine Cut Out Now Not Starting
Hi Guys & Girls
My 88 RS cut out on me the other day and I had to be recovered home. The starter also failed. That's now sorted but my 2.8 mpi smells like it's flodding the engine. There is a spark at the plugs, the battery is fine and everything is plugged in.
The last time I had problems it was the Mass Air Sensor which was replaced. The connector on the non-OEM part I bought has been a bit tricky but this time I filled it with Vaseline. That was ok right??
Any ideas? I'm totally fed up with this car and am thinking about selling.
