random smoke

so after letting my car warm up i smell a light light trace of smoke and go to check and i see it coming from around distributor and possibly below it (it was very light not easy to see) are there any parts below that area that would smoke if there really old. I only start my car about once biweekly, i didnt have any time to check it out today but tomorrow after my class ill put it on my ramps to see if it is hopefully just oil that leaked on the exhaust because i just did a oil change about 2 months ago.
any ideas what it could be?

Re: random smoke

Rightbehind there is where the exhaust goes from the drivers side manifold. Could be something just dripped on it.. beat to check these things out though.

Re: random smoke

You could have a bad head gasket that's leaking externally onto the exhaust. When you look at see if you can see any signs of coolant. If it is coolant it could also be your heater core or hoses. Does the smoke have a smell to it?

Re: random smoke

Lets not forget about the rear cam cover back there. I had that same issue leaking a lil oil before till I replaced it.
