as topic states looking for a clean v6 5 speed car in central iowa (des moines area ) 87-92

let me know what you got will look at cars within a 75 mile radius from des moines

 

would you go as far as iowa city if need be?

 

depends on what condition the car is in and how much , got pics and price?

 

I lucked out and found a car like that just 30 miles from m house, but I do regular searches for cars that match that descriptions, and I'm lucky to find one for sale nationwide.
where are you searching? Craiglist? Ebay? autotrader?

 

well i am no longer looking here in iowa my job is moving me out to PA now.so i only have 2 weeks left here in iowa.kinda sucks though cause i know im going to have trouble finding a clean rust free car out in pa but ya you never know. but hey its hard to turn down a 6$ an hour raise so im deff going

 

I still do searches for those cars, even though I bought mine. If I find one for sale, what's the farthest away you would travel to go get it? When I was looking, I thought I would have to fly somewhere to get to one, and drive it back

 

You most likely wouldn't have found a rust free car in Iowa.. For something like that you need to look outside the rust belt. Texas, Arizona, California, and Florida are good places to look.

 

i figured it would have been worth a shot, cars out here seem to be cleaner then the cars were im from in the central nj area and when i was in ny state u couldnt find anything rust fee. i did come across a few really nice z-28's and irocs out here in iowa but i dont want another v8 car.once i get settled in out in pa ill start searching online in some of the other states and see what i can find but i already know thats the only way im going to find what im after
