i bought this cable http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd1u
to use on my 1989 2.8 mpfi to datalog as im having some issues with the car. before i bought the cable i did some searching and found that i can actually datalog on my car. i was also told that WinALDL will work. i got my cable today and nothing works. it says the cable is connected but nothing is logging.

i cant figure out how to work this. is somewhere can help me and make it so i didnt waste 60 bucks please feel free too. lmk what i have to do.

could i possibly have a 10Kohm resistor as this cable has diff setups.


or is ther another program that someone knows how to work. please lmk thanks

Did you set it up for the 1986 2.8 Liter MFI engine?

It'll be either that configuration, or you'll need to download TunerPro or something that will work with your ECM (which is a single year ECM, unfortunately).
