Re: keeps dieing???????

Help us out with more info. Depending on how the EGR was removed, it could be your problem. Most likely a vacuum leak. Any codes?

Could be a vacuum leak. My car was running all weird and I found a broken vacuum hose. Replaced all the hoses with new ones and no more problems...except for the injectors when I first start it. Your problem could be the fuel pump too my dads 88 s10 blazer did something similar to that and it wasn't getting enough fuel pressure at idle.

Re: keeps dieing???????

Could be carbon buildup on your throttle body, bad fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, do a full tuneup basically, then if its still doing it, maybe your ICM, fuel pump, o2 sensor, IAC or TPS.

Yeah, my 92 lumina kept stalling out at stop signs, stop lights, esp ones going uphill, and it kept stalling out moment I would put it into gears too, was carbond buildup on the throttle body =/ Just get some carb and choke cleaner and clean it up around the plate.

Yeah...$50 is a steal, I'm guessing someone you know just wanted to get rid of the thing, but even for a shell that's a good price, let a lone a complete and even running, car.
