2.8 700R4 shift points

Where do they shift @ WOT?

My 1-2 is at 6200 - 6300 and my issue is that with the 7730 ECM I just installed to run my 3400 V6, I hit the rev limiter @ 6400 before the 2-3 shift happens...

Do I need to up the rev limit OR is there something wrong with my trans...?

Otherwise driving around on the street, it's mint though ?

could be the tv cable adjustment is off a little. my 730 doesn't have a rev limiter...i've turned it 7k (by the tach...may or may not have been right). well, if it has a limiter, its high! if you can change the limiter on yours, just do that.

Re: 2.8 700R4 shift points

Need to know the year of the car before I can post up... There's 2 different sets of shift points, IIRC, depending on the year, because of changes within the transmission. However, it definitely sounds like either the TV cable has stretched or the valve is stuck or the governor valve is stuck, or you have low oil pressure in the trans.
