Yes, but they are the same, except for the pre '86 "non H.O." heads, so I'm not sure what you're looking to gain.

Again, I still don't see why you'd swap the 2.8 heads onto the 3.1.

I think he's trying to say there's something wrong with the current heads on the 3.1... so he wanted to swap on a set of 2.8 heads.

The "H.O." Heads were the pre '86 "performance" head for the 2.8, that are basically the same as the post '85 head. The H.O. head was used on cars like the Citation X-11 and other "performance models."
