compucam for a 3.1

does anybody know the estimated HP gains from installing a compucam with no other mods???

7-10 REAL HP.. You should notice a nice difference 0-60 and in the 1/4. I would also add the 1.52 roller tip rockers and new timming chain and then have 15 REAL HP added...

Im sure you would get more than 15 HP! In Chevy High Performance they were building a 350 TPI and they put in the Comp Cam in and got 48 Hp out of it (through the dyno). So Im sure you could get a good 20-30 Hp out of a V6.

I do not think our cam really does anything that drastic... When Iam refering to 7-10 I refer to rear wheel power so I think they say you loose 20-30 percent in the transfer???

Maybe you're right, you might only get 7-10 rear wheel horses...All I did was read off the dyno testing and they got 48 HP out of it. So I just kinda lowered that since they have the V8 and we have the V6. Im not saying you're wrong...I just think you could get a little more than 7-10 HP.
