Well, after all the stuff I've read on here, I finally decided to go with AC RapidFires over the Platinum +4s. And I gotta say, I am impressed!

I only had 28k miles on my Borg Warner cap/Belden 7mm wire/Platinum tune up I did 2 years ago. I didn't change the cap yet (the Accel is on order), but I threw the 8.8s and RapidFires on, and WOW!! I don't know which one made a larger difference...I should have thrown the plugs only in and gone for a quick spin.

But it idles smoother, feels stronger, and actually laid a really nice strip for once! I know very well how my car ran before and after, so I know the improvement these can make isn't BS. Now I need my 300+, my homeade ram air and my Dynomax!!

I also just did a tune up and put 7mm Bosch wires, and Rapidfires. They do work very good!

I recently redid most of my ignition. Here's what I put on. Bosch Platinum +4, Neihoff Platinum 7.5mm spiral core wires, Blue Streak Cap + Rotor. Big difference that I felt right away.
