Fuel filter changed; it better not rain!
Well, I changed the 'ol fuel filter last night, as it was starting to rain. Good thing it didn't take too long! If it doesn't start raining again, I'm hitting the track tonight. I hope it'll be like last week, with only a handful of people there.
Hey does anyone know where that "fuel pump fuse" is supposed to be? I was going to do it "by the book" yesterday, and pull the fuse with the car running, so it would relieve all the pressure. But, where I'm pretty sure that fuse should be, is empty!

Sweet! I just checked my e-mail, and got a message back from Rich at Cruizin Performance (the place I sent my injectors to). He told me that the TPS couldn't cause the fuel pump to act up like it did. He also said that if I had a leaking injector, it would be leaking all the time, not "just" when hot. He said he saw that once on a Multec injector (Gen II 2.8/3.1's in front wheel drive cars), but never on a Bosch-style (ours).
So apparently my problem had nothing to do with the TPS, fuel pump, or injectors. Awesome!

I believe the fuse is over on the fender by the battery. I know it sounds weird, but I remember two fuses over there that were in cases that looked like relays, and I think my book said one of them was the FP fuse.

Why the hell do I remember pulling a fuse from the rear near the tank when I did mine???? All I know is I did something back there, and it kept the pump from working

While the fuse at the front of the car does give the fuel pump power, it also supplies the ECM.
Jason, did you disconnect the pump connector, above the axle?
