Non Thirdgen, but about a 93 300zx w/ 3.0 V6

My friend got a 93 Nissan 300zx today and he let me drive it. In all honesty I didn't think it felt much faster than my 2.8. Any one know the hp numbers on one of these. I challenged him to a race for this weekend. I know I can't win, but it's all in fun anyway. At least I'm not getting my hopes up. Its an auto so at least I'm not contending w/ a stick, but I could tell his shifted a lot faster.

I don't know about those cars a lot. But if it is a twin turbo one, I think they have 325 or 350 hp..

If it the N/A motor, then he's pushing around 220 hp.

200 HP non turbo. I think 310 turboed. I remember I raced a ***** in a red 300 ZX turbo and he kicked my *** ! Same guy kicked my friend's *** (but he had a V8 ford truck). They're fast as hell if they are turboed. They're still fast non but watch out for the TCed ones!

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I'm whupped but its still gonna be a fun race. It's the not turbo one, but I could tell it was pretty quick in the upper rpms. When I drove it, I never took it over 4000 rpms b/c I didn't wanna dog the hell outta his car. He took it up to about 100 on US 70 and that thing was flyin.
And one more thing LOL monkie about the I didn't know you couldn't say ch!nk on this board.

yeah, the N/A 300zx will run and and leave the 2.8 camaros/firebirds, even some of the 305's with no problems. My friends 93 N/A ran a 14.03 at the track 2 weeks ago before they closed for the season. All he has in a custom intake and injectors.

I hope you're talking about the TCed ones.
