For a fuel injected or carb?I will post one for a carb if you want.It is an edlebrock intake with a 4bbl or a 2bbl.I can't remember which. If you want I will find it.

You mean a chassis (or engine) dyno report? I haven't seen one for a 2.8 either; I don't think anybody's run one.
My mechanic said he could (he bought the chassis dyno for NJ's emissions testing), but I never followed up with it. Maybe in the spring I will...

shift the car manually if you think it is zapping that much HP

I realized it was zapping power when I lost to an Escort Zx2, 5 speed the other night. I think I read somewhere that they only had like 120 some hp. I don't have a tach but I'm thinking it's shifting at about 3500 rpms when I floor it down. That's 1600 rpms off peak hp. I'd adjust on the tv cable if I really wanted it to shift that high all the time, but just for everyday driving it's ok. Next time I race someone I'll try to remember to manual shift it. In the spur of the moment I'm luck to remember to take it out of overdrive.

Vortec, the HP lost would still be the same, shifting manually or not. Line pressure is increased almost two-fold when the stick's in first or second, so a firmer shift is a good possibility with shifting manually- BUT, the engine still has to go through a fluidically-coupled torque convertor, not a mechanically coupled clutch.
