92 3.1 Firebird vs. 95 3.4 L Firebird

If the 95 is unmodded, and the 3.1 has the mods I have listed in my signature, who would win? Both are automatics.

What are the gear ratios in the rears? I think the 3.4 would jump you and you may never catch up. The 4th gens are a little heavier but he has a cube advantage.

So far I am 2 for 2 in my projected winners. Why not make it 3 for 3!!!

Ovrclck350, I choose you, dont let me down! I think you should get a K&N, and do somesort of ram/cold air intake,, that will give your car some bigger *****!

If you do that I'll bet that you will win.

Well, I'll make my usual, on-the-fence prediction

He SHOULD win, but he may not. He's running high 8's, low 9's 0-60, and you're about 10 flat, maybe picking up an extra .5 sec with your mods (but that can be deleted immediately if your engine is more worn than his.)

Whatever happens, I wish you luck, and have fun

what a wus, he's afraid to lose that much, that he won't even race you? what a loser. Heck, i used to race things i knew would lose, just to see how fast they were. Those were fun days.

I've got a bunch of little mods, but I'm pretty sure I'm missing on a cylinder lately, and my spare tranny (in right now) is a POS, and I barely got edged out by my friend's 3.4 95 'bird. If you're in good shape, you should be able to walk on him.
