Hi right now I have a a flowmaster 80 series on my camaro but I was wondering what I could still do to make it sound louder, or anything that would also help gain HP and still add that aggressive sound?anything?

 

Well, anything but the Flowmaster would help. If you really wanted it louder, you could put on a fart can...

 

Is your best friend there was a thread started some time back with all kinds of exhaust clips for out v6.

you could put a v8 before the muffler

 

Take off the exhaust manifolds. That will be a little louder.

And get rid of the flowmaster unless your only concern is sound. They sound great but are some of the most restrictive mufflers on these cars.

 

Headers, air intake, high flow cat, and a catback, air intake will just make things louder up front, but louder is louder....My car sure as hell is pretty damn loud....pacesetter headers, magnaflow cat, and dynomax catback is a pretty great sounding comp, no rasp whatsoever, was actually pretty funny, one of the guys working at the advance auto where I used to live had a 3rd gen 2.8 too, he was showing me his car a bit, revved it to show off, sounded like utter crap, then I fired back with mine.....put his *** to shame,lol.
And I swear the car isn't much quieter with the full exhaust than it was with open headers.....at any rate its pretty beastly sounding, can certainly draw attention to itself....I will warn you though, loud isn't for everyone, when you are crusing on the highway you can expect it to drone decently loud, personally I just drown it out with music if it starts getting on my nerves, but I also drove a 92 lumina for a couple months with the exhaust snapped off at the cat, so I'm kind of used to it...
No v6 will sound like a v8, but they can be made to sound good...but expect to be setback $600+ installed. depending on whether you get the ceramic coated headers, I got my whole exhaust from summit.
