Upper & Lower Intake Manifolds / Coating???

Well I was thinking about getting the upper & lower intake manifolds off of another 2.8L at the wrecking yard. They want $33 for it. Would I notice any type of gain from getting these JET HOT coated or just notice a really nice shine? Thanx

just my opinion, but it's probably just a shine.

Hmmmmm, more air flow!!!!!!!! W/ a cold air intake that means more cold air means more turbulance and that means more HP. Yeeeeeeha!!!! Ok, I think that I'm going to pick em up today.
Where would I have them ported at? Who can do this for me? Also how much room do I have so I don't port them too much? Thanx, never thought of that bro.
