omg you guyz my car is silly fast i couldnt believe it

it spun the tires in and through 4th {no joke}clocked it with the g tech dont laugh said it did 0-60 in 4.6seconds and the quarter in 12.07@112 i couldnt believe it.got a few bugz to work out still but no big deal my msd was cuttin the ignition out on me for some reason.tranny mount broke too!!! any recomendations on replacment? and spinnin both wheels is so cool.holy **** can i put a cloud in the air.sorry if i sound like an idiot but im so stoked.itz unbelievablely fast.itll break the tires loose in 3rd gear goin 40 mph.i just worried about how long the rears gonna hold up!had no probs with it tonight.only thing wrong was the timing was off and the msd was chokin the spark for some reason.itz the one where you can vary the timing per cylinder i forgot the name.OMG is all i can say.what a rush!!now itz gonna be down for a month while itz being painted.sucks but ohwell.oh yeah how off are the g-techs? i could NOT get any kind of traction whats so ever.im still runnin the 15inchers with 215/70/15s ack!! and yes il be takin it to the track in the spring.anybody know wut the t56 is rated at?hp and torque wise? my engine builder friend told me that i should be able to run 11s when i get some traction? i dunno tho.says hes impressed with wut the g-tech said condsidering loss of traction.

That is an excellent ET for that mph on a Gtech. What's your combo? I am guessing 3.8T? Awesome feeling isn't it?

Well first off man that sounds cool as Hell. I would think that first thing you need to do is get atleast a p275/45/zr17's on that thing and Buy a spare set of rims to put drag slicks on for the track. Secondly I would not do a true dual exhaust system on that car. You are making too much HP to put through dual 2 1/2" pipes. GO with a dual 3" converters feeding into a 4" pipe to a single 4" outlet. That will give you the best flow. As for your side exit, I saw that done on an Iroc once and to get it all to fit included trimming the ground effects. Plus under the car the pipes rubed all the time because there was no ground clearence. Also (my mind is wondering here) a true dual side by side set up that follows whrere the factory location is limits you to 2 1/2" pipe and looks like spagheti. If you run them down the center you will have to move your fuel lines and something else.(some one on the TPI board did this and posted pics) Anyways those sound like some impressive numbers. It will take a long time to get it running perfectly. Adjusting timing, jetting, fooling with meetering rods, messing with you MSD, and Fuel Pressure. Then you move into gearing, tire pressure, Temperature where it gives best performance and so on. Just remember do one change at a time and keep a log book so you can see what works best under different weather conditions and track conditions, and what combinations work best on your car. Remember because you adjust it once doesn't mean not to adjust it again after you adjusted something else?
Good luck man, Cool plate
