Catco Converter

I see ALOT of people taking about the Catco Hi-Flow converter on the board & I was wondering if there is more than one Catco or if they are all " Hi-Flow "....I found a few places on line that sell Catco but none of the ads say " Hi-Flow " in them....

Just seems to be a regular converter in the ads...

Thanks for any info :-)

Catco is junk. Sure it flows ok for a converter, but thats only because it has less catalyst in it (which explanes why you had greater emissions with a catco). They don't last long if you run a tad bit on the rich side. The honeycomb is total junk and brakes up easily after limited milage. I had one on my '85 Fiero Gt for 20k miles before I crapped out.

Call this number and get this brand convertor.
I got one from them about 10 years ago, still works great!
I paid about $70, also.
Hey, now they're $60.

I have the catco in my camaro now for 2 years almost.. I prefer it over a straight pipe or hollowed out cat... If money was no object I would look up Dynomax or Random Tech before I got another catco, but for the cost my catco was perfect.. I tossed it on the same time I added my Dynomax cat back... For under 200 bucks I redid most of my exhaust and gained some power....

Should I replace my converter since I just turned 100,000 miles even though it's not giving me any probs or wait 'till later?

I have a random tech on my car, its not really expensive and it flows awesome. I've read tech reviews that say it flows just as good as if it wasnt there.
