What size are the valve cover studs?

I need to replace the studs that the valve cover hold down nuts bolt to. I don't need replacement studs- I need the size so I can use some bolts to connect some plug wire looms to the valve covers...

Plain old sbc's with perimeter bolt valve covers are tapped for 5/16 X 24 hardware.

Looks like I found something. I have polished Fiero valve covers and the Fiero 2.8 apparently uses M6x1.0x26 bolts, with a sleeve so that the covers do not get distorted... I will let you know how it goes...
