after market temp guage question
after market temp guage question
I got a mechanical water temp guage today and was wondering where I should install the capillary tube tip.

i had mine installed. After reading the auto meter instructions with drilling into the head etc i didnt wanna screw with it.

u can but then ur stock gauge wont work. I wanted everything to work including stock stuff

if the temp sensor is fragged wouldnt that make the engine run ruff. i mean the computer has to know what the temp is to adjust fuel mixtur and $hit. or is sensor strickly for the factory gauge.

Yep, just remove the factory sender. It should be on the outermost corner of the driver's side head, at the front. That's what I did. I also had to buy an Autometer adapter to convert the smaller fitting on the gauge to the larger hole in the head.
